spring wrap?
some of you may know the problem we get with sleeved coilovers how they make clunking/metal rubbing sounds when turning. so instead of greasing the springs every month, is their any rubber or ring seat that i can put in between the spring and the top hat plate of the front 2 skunk2's i have?
i know the sound is an issue with the top metal plate and the spring rubbing when turning because when i lube them up, the noise is either gone or reduced for a period of time. im thinking about finding a universal rubber seat or some sort to place inbetween.
any idea what type of product i can find for this specific issue?

RadioShack or Frys sells some stuff called coil wrap, its used to wrap loose wires together. Couple of bucks for a bag full. Or Home Creepo sells clear plastic tubing that'll work also.

i remember someone with the same problem you're having and they solved it by buying some spring wrap (i think thats what its actually called). i believe it looked almost like the wrap you put on headers. the guy wrapped his neuspeeds (i think) and the poping/clunking noises went away. do a search and maybe you'll find it. the thread was from a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time ago tho.
