Major problem with GC coilovers and Tokico Blues

well for some reason my rear is sitting VERY low, i have them all the way to the top and i barely have a 2 finger gap. the front is just dropped 1.25 and its just a tad bit higher than the rear. what could be causing the problem? i had them professionally installed so please

check the upper mounts... cuz you might not have put a stopper washer on the strut so it might be popping though the top...i made that mistake so go into ur trunk, and lift up the carpeting and see if the top of the strut is sticking out

its hard to raise up the rears on our civics cuz the spring on the coil sleeve is already compressed and u cant adjust it by hand cuz there is no more room for the spring to travel upward. same with the rsx. i installed my own tokicos and gc's on my civic and helped my friend with his rsx with gc's and konis.

its a biatch to raise more than 3 fingers cuz u have to use your hands and dont have a adjusting wrench. in the rear my gc's are already to the highest level settings until the spring stops me from turning it up and i only have like a pinky gap with 215/40/18 and about 2-3 fingers with 215/35/18... dont know with smaller rims... hope this helps, just lower the front more to even it out, imo

the tokicos hp's, from what i've read, only can handle a smaller drop.

I know the exact problem.
You've got 5" springs. Call GC up. They'll make you send a picture of the collar with the spring all the way up, and then a pic of the car on the ground. Then tell them you want to be sent either longer collars or new longer (6") springs.
I don't understand WTF their problem is, everyone has this issue and they haven't fixed it yet.

well I called GC today and they said since I didn't buy the set directly through them I would have to purchase the rear springs for 59 each. so boiler, do you know which spring I would have to get from them exactly

I think its just the springs for the RSX.
I have 6" 525 pounders.
I'm sure you can pick a rate as long as they have it.
