need to diagnosis the SRS light in order to figure out whats going on. Something that a dealer needs to do unless you have a scan tool to diagnosis SRS codes and know SRS systems.
thats just fabulous news.(sheesh)...i maybe askin too much but anyone know where I can purchase them for low cost. (websites..etc.)I looked at it today and Im figuring that this is the reason why that SRS light is on. there may b anotha reason but right now this is my strongest suspicion....NE way thanks for the insight fellas
As everyone already said, the locks in the seatbelt units fired and therefore are going to need to be replaced. I got in a minor accident that didnt involve the airbags deploying but the seatbelts locked. The units, new from honda are like 390 bux a piece but are way cheaper if you use e-bay or simply go to a junkyard. They are also very easy to replace once you have a unit to replace them with. You could also ghetto rig your seatbelts by undoing the lock. Its pretty easy, and once you disasseble the units you will see how to do it. I dont recommend doing this but is just another possibility.
