hid is suck unless its a retrofit. fog lights are even worse. i got oem and can't see a thing unless i have my head on the dash. yellow fogs are much easier to see however if you go that route. i think its overplayed to make them look like a lexus.

yellow foglights (non oem) plus retrofit would give you the best benefit. that way you can drive with massive amounts of light during the night, and when it rains, you can see the ground thanks to the yellow foglights. when was the last time you could actually see the ground during heavy rainfall with your stock headlights?
I think the best setup is yellow (not yellow-ish) bulb in stock or TYC combined with Sylvania Xenarc X1010 HID aux driving kit....And such thing is like the reverse of Lexus....Thinking how funny it is if an IS is sitting next and all lights are on....
The good thing is that X1010, if aimed properly, can actually be used alone without low beam as long as cop doesn't stop you (tried in rural highway). The bad thing is that, it is very white (high color type, as stated by Sylvania), and combining it with white helogen headlight bulb can cause total darkness on surface when the road is wet. Now, I am thinking the actual OEM HID actually be more yellowish than white. Otherwise, if the OEM is too white, then an additional yellow light will be in place for bad weather....
