Cat Converter-
Overall condition: Good - it's scraped at the bend. Will clean it if necessary cuz naturally it's kinda yellow-tinted and dusty. No pics ATM (or at all).
If you're not sure what it looks like, it's a replica of the EX OEM cat with bigger piping (no heatshield of course). It fits EX Civics or any 01-05 Civic with the EX 4-1 header/cat set-up.
$50 Or Best Offer
-------------------------
Header-
Overall condition: Good - The header is still on the car at the moment. It's condition is the same, no scrapes just dusty. This is a replica of an EX header with bigger piping. Until it's off the car I'm taking offers only.
$75 OBO
Sidenotes & FAQ:
-Both parts were installed at the same time so they have the same amount of mileage on them. (Which is about 15k miles)
-Unless the price (your offer) is right, I will NOT ship. Local pick-ups only.
-My PMs are temporarily off. If you have a question or an offer, post it here. You can also reach me on AIM @ SlammedBlueEM2.
-Person asks: "Will this fit on my DX/LX?" The piping of the cat converter will not clear the front sway bar of DX/LX Civics. If you have an aftermarket front sway bar see if the design is the same as the EX Civic's (year is neglible). If you have a DX/LX Civic you're going to also need an EX header since the header and cat converters are designed differently between the DX/LX and EX. As far as hooking up the two O2 sensors, I'm 95% sure that the wires extend long enough to work with the high flow cat.
-Person asks: Will my check engine light come on with the cat? Does that mean something is wrong? Can it be fixed?" Most likely your check engine light will come on and stay on. (For some people's cars, it came on and went off for good. Results may vary.) Nothing is wrong with your car. The light simply means that your car's computer is reading your cat converter as "faulty" or not working properly since it's not stock. If you find the light is bothersome there are ways to turn it off - and for that you're gonna have to search.
-Person asks: Will my car pass smog with the cat on? If you think it won't, actually it will - partially. Your car will meet smog requirements but if the guy smogging your car sees it bolted on your car, you fail the test. Not a wise idea to get your car smogged without stock parts on. (Unless of course your bribing skills are a part of your A-game.)
