im in the same prediciment as you homie, im probly going to go with either B&G springs, Goldline springs, or Tanabe springs, depending on how much my friend can get them for me, there all around 1.75 inch drop, teh neuspeed sports were too much for me, 2.25 front 2 rear, cuz i have a body kit and i would scrape like theres no tommorrow, but anyway enough whoring threads for me, go here for more info here........

My opinion is to get shocks and a camber kit. It will end costing you more money in the long run if you don't.

Hey Just replied to your pm.. the skunk2s never gave me a problem. No rubbing and I can always turn on a dime =) the tires on my ride were 17 inch 215 40's as well.
and listen to Robb when it comes to replacing the shocks as well and camber kit. The initial cost is a lil much but man it is so easy to install and it will save you $$$ in the future. I had to replace my shocks 3 to 4 months after the springs and I was wishing at the time I just did it all at once.
and be sure to check ebay for everything =)

wow thanks guys.. actually my plans are kinda half *** for now.. but theyre def. temporaray.. for now im puttin the skunk2's on w/o camber and shocks.. reason is cuz i got my crappy stock tires on right now so im not worried about wear, im only gonna be on em for about 4 months..also.. the shocks.. idk.. it might be dumb.. but if they go bad, i'll HAVE to get new ones.. but thanks for all the info guys.
Rob and DaveC are completely right. Although replacing springs will lower your ride height you'll wear out the stock shocks that much faster. Read robbclarks suspension faq. I really like my Progress Coilovers and they are ride height adjustable so no rub issues with my 225/50/15's.

^^alright, well i decided cuz right now im at stock height and my side skirts scraped today going over a speed bump that i couldnt avoid and it was HUGE, so i went sideways over it and my side skirt scraped, so the speed bumps i usually go over arent that big, so im thinking a 1.5 inch drop front and back will do, thanks robbclark1
and by the way robbclark1, do u know of anybrand that makes 1.5 front and rear?

Try Eibach prokit with tokicos and a SPC camber kit. Eibach will give you a 1-1.2" drop which is mild. Tokico's will help stiffen the ride and last longer than OEM. And it is alway safe to have a camber kit even if you aren't lowering.
alright, well i found out that B&G makes a spring kit that lowers front 1.6 and rear 1.4 because as many people said the rear tends to sag and the front of my car is higher then the rear already so im thinking that if i get these springs, it will all even out, and im gonna get the springs, put them on, and then after winter get struts, and depending on what the camber looks like after i get springs, il either buy a kit right away if i notice anything wrong, if not, it will come after winter, thanks dude, and pm me if you hav anything to say about what im thinking on doing, cuz 1-1.2 wasnt good enough drop to get rid of the wheel gap
