30k mile maintanence?

I was wondering who here has done there 30k mile maintanence to the civic. I have an 04 ex coupe and am about to hit 30k miles very soon. How much does the dealer charge for this service? and what is actually done to the car? What do they change and so on and so forth. Thanks everyone

Dealer rapes you but it's one of the best places to go to get it done (at least in Puerto Rico, dunno in... wherever you live)

nah man...all the maintenance where they "inspect" stuff is bogus. they just look at the parts. That's all!

You can do your own inspection. Plus, you know your car the best since you drive it everyday.

yea but skip the stuff like replenishing the windshield fluid, rotating the tires and "inspecting the brake pads"

Replenishing the windshielf fluid?
Why would I do that at 30k miles?
I do that every 5k!
lol

By the 30,960 miles my car has, it has undergone:
  • Brake pad changes
  • Tire changes (not rotation and stuff, changes)
  • ... engine repair. Some idiot ****ed up my engine when he did the filter and oil change @ 21k miles (I was too busy to do it myself those days).
Eh, engine's repaired... but that sucks.

well specifically at 30k there's auto tranny fluid change, and if its been 3 years, brake fluid change. Also its good to check the brakes if you want and the motor oil maybe. Check tire wear, maybe alignment, tire rotation. but really main ones are auto tranny fluid and brake fluid.

I believe that they also change your wiper blades, air filter and cabin filters at 30k.

The parts are pricey at the dealer.. as is the labor. It's always smart to ask for a list of every thing that is included in any service 'package'. They are normally fluffed up some.
