The larger exhaust will bring your exhaust velocity down quite a bit. This will actually do the opposite of what you want to accomplish. Even though you have more exhaust flow, there will be a loss in power due to too much cylinder scavanging. You may notice a decrease in low end torque and potentially a small decrease in top end power.
And it will not help all that much for nitrous (compared to a 2.25 or 2.5" exhaust). The excess exhaust gas created from a small (less than 100) nitrous shot will not create the need for a large diameter exhaust. I would stay with a 2.25" exhaust just to keep the cars NA performance up to par, and it wont hurt the nitrous power much. And the car will be much more bearable to drive in (noise level)
