ok, i got an 01 lx AT sedan, i want it to be faster but not TOO fast, just faster than what it is now, so i was thinking that i wanted a 5spd convertion, but ppl say its not worth it unless u get a swap, cuz just the convertion alone is like 2k, so that makes sense, some one also told me that the k20a3 is a cheap swap, not as much as the k20a2(i think) or else i was thinking of leaving it AT and running turbo,

WHAT DO U GUYS THINK I SHOULD, and if anything i dont wanna spend THOUSANDS of dollars, i was sumthing decent, not sumhting that'll be like 10k or sumthking like that, so SHOOT

your gonna spend over $3000 on anything you go with. Turbo can run you anywhere from $3000 to w/e. Swap your prolly looking at more, unless you find a steal on an engine at the junk yard or someone needing cash. Your car will never be too fast.

i've seen turbo kits run like 1500-1800, but from what u know what i want, what would u recomend me???? i just need opinions, i dont want to decide the wrong one

Well, im in the same situation dude. You can pay a little more for the swap, and that way u wont have to worry as much as you do with turbo. What i mean is that, by swapping, you dont decrease the engine life...you dont have to deal with tuning too much and uve basically got a stock engine..but with 160hp .. or you can say **** it and boost it...you dont have to deal with getting all these parts that fit with a different engine..but you will have consider that turbo slowly eats away at your engine..slowly...depending the psi...and theres quite a bit of tunning involved..so your call dude!

i was thinking that too w/ the swap, but u got to admit, BOOSTING is awsome, and once ur engine is gone, ur stock one is soo cheap, a d17, is like 300-400 bucks, so i dont know what to do, i think im just gonna boost my AT

an 1800 turbo is not a quality one, you get what you pay for remember that.
