i know the difference is like 10 hp but what made that difference and i heard somthing about the gears being like better or somthing so i dono :S anyone want to clearify anything?

the suspension got tighten up a bit, the ride is more rough in the 05 but handling has improved. im am not aware of any tranny changes.

If it was the engine that was your decision between the diff models Id go for 05. It has as close as possbile to the type-r engine as possible minus the lsd. I think its got the cams and IM?

04-06 got an LSD but the 05-06 go the exterior change and a stiffer suspension and a different engine coded K20Z1 as to the 02-04 K20A2

Hey dude. He was clearly talkin about the engine/trans thats why he mentioned the 10hp and the possiably of different gear ratios. He didnt say do they look different or anything like that.

The 05 has +10hp over the 01-04 becasue it has different cams and possiably a couple of other things. The suspension has also been stiffened. That's about it performance wise unless larger tires (17's) also fall into this category. K20Z1 = 05+ K20A2 = 01-04

No I am not a hater, I just was stating something that is different on the 05s than the 01-04s. Did I not answer the question asked to the best of my knowledge about RSX's??? Alright then.
