Anti-sway Bars should be Thicker 4 Front or Rear?

I am ordering Type R parts (22mm) Bars for my car.

I understand Progress is offering 28mm Anti-sway bars for the front. I am thinking of getting them too.

Since our cars are FF and meant to understeer, will a thicker anti-Sway front bar (example 28mm front, 22mm rear) cause our car to understeer more?

Ok this sounds stupid but if we want our car to be a more neutral setup, won't it be better if we have a thicker bar at the rear instead of the front? This should allow the understeer to be eliminated

It depends on how much understeer or oversteer you want. I think 28 front is too excessive. I have 25 front and 19 rear and I wish I had a larger rear bar. My friend has the progress 27mm front and the 22 rear and sometimes he can get his car to rotate. A 22mm rear bar with the stock 25.4mm front (not the 15.6 mm front( will probably feel nice, if you have the rest of your suspension set up properly.

Eibach makes a 25mm front bar. You can get an OEM front 25mm bar (01-02) or if you want more oversteer you can get an OEM 15.6mm front bar (03+).

You can also look for:

- 22.2mm front bar from a 2002 sedan

- if you don't have a EX, you can also look for the 23mm front RSX bar (before 2005)

Ok, dont get all worked up here - but I am not even running a front sway bar. First thing I noticed was loss of initial turn in - the steering is not quite as precice, but man, midcorner and exit are ****. I am currently playing with spring rates/lengths/shock rebound and corner weighting to get my corner entry back.
