Question Which is worse?

Having a torn, empty, & dry cv boot on both sides.....or.. driving w/o p/s (as in damaged p.s steering pump)
or will they both become equally bad problems?

I am just curious and no I don't have these problems...glad I don't either...

well driving on axles with bad boots will just eventually tear up the axles. in very rare instances it could cuase worse things, like an accident or something.
driving with a messed up ps pump, well if its already messed up then isnt that bad in itself?

im thinking it through in my head..........i mean, the rack and pinion will work, the ps pump just gives it a boost to help you out, so id imagine its perfectly fine without the ps pump. although i dont know if maybe thers a specific way that if the ps pump got messed up in this way it would screw with the rack and pinion (like a leak or something)
