D2 coilovers
From what I hear D2 coilovers are the bomb. I doubt anyone on here has them...most ppl go with tein on this site. But if your talking about the D2 coilovers, that are purple. I'd say they are good quality, and you shouldn't have problems. Its my understanding d2 is a german company that does a lot of aftermarket suspension parts for german cars.

i have them, had them when they first came out. I think they are fine for daily use. I haven't tracked them, and probably wont ever do so.
But as far as ride quality + lowering ability, they get a + from me!

Anywayz....if your looking for coilovers, why don't you give ksports a shot. www.ksportusa.com
I have them on my car and they are wonderful 36way adjustable 4inch drop. I dunno how much they retail for because I got a partial sponsorship, but you can ask a few members on the boards. I know some of them have gone and purchased ksports and really like them. As for the ride and feel, they are amazing. In case you haven't heard about ksport, theres a reason why...they are new. But from what I've been hearing, the word is more and more ppl really like them. One of my buddies was telling me yesterday they are designed in austraila or something and assembled in taiwan. He says more and more racers are using them because they are easily to pick up at good prices and seem to work really well. Sorry can't vouche if its true he just told me this.

i would say the Ksport and D2 are exactly the same. I cannot prove this but its almost obvious to conclude becuase they are phyiscally the same on the outside.
Id say if you just want to lower your car and have a better ride than with springs. Get either D2 or Ksport or EVEN those megan coilovers whatever comes out to be cheaper.
Id say the next step up is a Set of Tein's.

ksport, d2, and megan are relatively the same product made in the same factory, but different companies. hayame is just pure ****.
though ksport is the only company i know of (besides tein) thas has 16mm mount holes by default and an adapter for 01-02. plus they're serviced in the US, whereas d2's overseas...

D2's i beleive are now servicaable in the US, becuase im assuming the D2's Ksports and Megans all use the same "repair" poeple, since htey are all basically the same.
