camber..
camber..
i got a question about camber kits that isnt answered in the faq..
im ready to buy megan racing lowering springs (1.5" drop f & r) but im not gettn them unless i buy a camber kit along with them..
now, the question is.. do i have to get a front AND rear camber kit??.. cuz in some threads ive seen people only gettin the rear kit.. is this just a half *** move or is this all thats needed?? btw,,, im interested in the spc kit but its front and rear.. so i wanna make sure i need the ENTIRE kit before buying
please, if you have an answer SHARE it cuz i wanna drop this thang down asap

The front is $20 and they usually come in a set. Get the front and be done with it. You have to decide if you want to the adjustability or not.
Boilermaker disagrees with me, partly because they can slip out of position.
"Front kits... well 2 options. Camber or Crash Bolts that are smaller than the stock crash bolts give you additional range of motion by freeing space up in the knuckle hole to set the knuckle more upright. They're $20-30 bucks, but they have plenty of flaws. If you drive hard, they have a tendency to move and not hold their setting. As a result, frequent alignments (every few months) are a necessity. If you're looking at any sort of racing, I don't recommend them unless the rules specify that this is the only way you can change your camber. Honestly, if you can get your camber back to about -1.5 degrees or less without the use of camber bolts and still get 0 toe, I wouldn't even bother with the bolts."

you def. need them for the rear. once you're lowered you'll see why. for the fronts its kinda up in the air. when i went for my alignment they guy adjusted the left to spec but couldnt adjust the right without a camber bolt.
