Honda-Michelin Civic Coupe Racing.

Found this on MSN Autos of all places: http://en.autos.sympatico.msn.ca/adv...home&pos=Edit1

Looks like they kept the stock D17 block of the LX in there and just changed the exhaust, I wonder how slow this race was consider that they added a full roll cage to the car...

since when does the dx have a tach?

Series organizers arranged for all of the racing Civic DX coupes to climb onto this mobile dynamometer to get a true measure of their sealed engines' torque and horsepower and keep things straight.
The Civic DX coupe's interior gets stripped of all trim pieces except for the instrument panel and rear shelf. Big crossbar is part of the safety roll cage: stock tachometer behind is still usable.
does the canadian dx come with a tach?

The pic on the interior is a 2001 model, as you can see from the cup holder with no lid and the gauge cluster is the old stlye(01-02). The DX is the lightest of the civics and removing all inside kinda evens out for the weight added for the roll cage.
