i would just go with the short ram cause you wont gain much with CAI + you wont have to compensate for water gettin in yer engine. talk to gearbox he has gone thro several intakes. from the info i get from him the K&N Typhoon Short ram intake is the best one he has ever used and using.

I'm using a K&N drop-in filter, pretty happy with it (automatic transmission)

best intake I've used is K&N tryphoon SRI. Got it from cardomain.com

Pretty good sound, quieter than most other intakes below 4k, but very noticable. Gives more torque and almost no extra hp. Good for lower rpm driving 1-4.5k

i would go with the k&n intake. I have the aem short ram but it didnt do much. you will lose a little bit of torque but not much and you will gain a little bit of high end power.

it wasnt meant to be harsh, but with as many threads as there are about intakes and the different ones and which one is best and what not, there shouldnt be a need to yet start another one.

There isn't any differences between cai and sri.
K&N seems to be the best one.
