I have a set of coilovers i got from a guy for lowering his car for him but im not sure if they fit my car. 01 and up is macpherson setup and coils are LARGE in front but the coilovers are not as big in diameter. Im wondering if coilovers for 01 and up are as big around as the factory springs???

huh? are they full coilovers or sleeved coilovers? Either way, the spring will be smaller in diameter than OEM.

this set has the 4 springs , 4 treaded sleeves with 2 threaded nuts for each sleeve one being a safety nut to back up against the one that spring rests on. Also comes with 4 rubber boots for tops im assumin with holes big enough for the top arm of the strut (3/4inch hole) , and 4 plastic rings.

hmm.. 2 things i question...

1. u been a member on this board for 2 years and no nothing about coilovers.

2. they dont make an 01 coupe in the "SI" trim.. assuming u live here in the state.

well if it's a canadian EX, itll be that car.. but i know that the SI is only a coupe in canada, and they are the same as the EX here.. prolly a few diffs.. but the coils are smaller, and springs are rounder
