Hey guys

so i finally recieved my support tool today, went and plugged the emanage into the ecu (with my emanage harness) and the car would not start.

i can hear the fuel pump prime

engine will turn over, but not startup

i unplugged my emanage and tried starting up with my regular ecu, and it STILL wont start

so i checked my plugs and they seem'd fine

unplugged the battery for 15 min to let the ecu reset, and still the same problem

Could it be possiable that the emanage fried my coils or ecu? what are the sympotoms of both?

no this was the first boot with it

i just simply plugged in my emanage and tried starting my car and thats where the problem started

the car was running perfectly before i plugged it in

found the problem

i checked over all my fuse's and my ignitor coil fuse was the problem

Just alittle word of adivse, dont know if you did this or not, make sure you UNplug your battery when your are working around your ecu or emanage. I have seen to many fried ecm's because of people soldiering, or improper install while having the battery connected. You got lucky just a fuse blew =)

thanks for the heads up

i though i would be fine because it was a simple p&p harness, but i wont do that again without a battery disconnect
