How to mount s/v-afc like this (pic)?

i know im not the best person to answer this but..
the answer is take out the part of the dash that has the cig lighter cut out a hole big enough to fit the SAFV the fiber glass around the unit to make it look flush...
sorry i never did this project but hope what i told you helps

ah okay, my 01 has a socket a small spacer and a smaller pocket under all that. i want to mount a vafc2 in there just like that - so it looks like im hunting down an 02 lower console piece. thanks steve +1

yeah i was on majestic honda.com and saw that the 03s had no pockets.

id say just pull the cig lighter out and not sue it at all or relocate it to the side somewhere. Cut a hole for the VFAC wires to go through (You might even be able to use the hole from the cig lighter removal), double side stickie tape it to the plastic and make sure the hole is covered. DOne.
