Manual Swap from Auto
Yeah i was thinkin of getting a manual swap for my 02 auto coupe..yeah my parents bought it as a present, and was wondering if its even possible without any major modifications and anyone know what kinda parts ill need from a manual 02 civic, i know im a need the center console, and the clutch setup, anything else ?

Yeah i was planning on getting a JDM K20a with the six speed transmission in my auto, was just wondering wht i would need extra besides the parts for the swap

well 500 is dirt cheap. if you do it yourself your looking at about 1000-1500 for the parts heres what you need.....
-manual tranny (obviously)
-transmission mount (since urs came as an auto, you will need this extra mount)
-shifter assembly and linkages
-clutch slave cylinder and reservior
-clutch lines
-manual ecu (auto ecu might work)
-clutch pedal (theEX already has the holes they just need punched out)
-brake pedal
-manual starter motor
-manual half-shafts/axles
I was going to do the swap, i could get a whole front clip for 1500 but now i might sell the car and get something new. or just beef up the auto
