Can you install memory device for passenger seat walk-in feature?

All of the Civics have the "passenger seat walk-in feature", but only the LX and EX have the passenger seat walk-in feature with memory. (according to http://www.hondacars.com/models/civi.../features.html)

For us HX and DX owners, our passenger seat won't return to the position it was at before the seat gets pulled forward. This is a pain in the butt sometimes and confuses every one of my passengers that trys to get the seat back to where it was.

Is there any hope for us? Can a device be installed so that the passenger seat returns to where it was? What is this "memory" feature that the LX and EX have? Is it an actual device that I can buy?

Thanks for your help!

i wish they would have put that damn thing on the drivers side too, i could care less if the passenger seat goes back how it was, but it pisses me off when i move my seat and then have to try to get it back the way it was

im sure its possible to get it in the HX/DX, but it might involve getting an LX/EX passenger seat and/or seat track

Hmmm.... seat track. I don't want to replace the whole seat. But perhaps if I can find some place that sells a seat track....

actually, with my ex, it doesn't seem to do back to where it was, it just always locks into place where it's about 3/4 the way back. maybe I'm not using it right. I never mess with the drivers seat; if I'm gonna have passengers, they all get in through the passenger side

That's what I'm saying, it's just a mecanism and no memory. The seat just slides forward and let somebody in or out from the back seat but then, you just slide the seat where it was, It will keep on moving back 'till you move the seat in a 90 degree angle, then it locks and then you adjust the back. Untill the back of the seat is in a 45 degree angle(aproximately), you can move it back and forth!
