i talked to the lead designer of SCE Gasket company two days ago. In a week or so, they will be taking my block and designing this gasket for the D17.

This gasket is amazing. Do some research about it. You will find that you CANNOT*** blow one. I found out that their original prototype Titan gasket was on a built GSR motor that made over 800 whp.
They had a twin turbocharged small block chvy truck making 45 psi of boost and put down over 1600 hp.
They do diesel trucks that make over 80 psi of boost.
And the gasket for our car will be designed in the same way, and will be just as stong as all those listed above.
***im sure you can blow one, but it is doubtful

Id rather replace the gasket than the engine.

I concur. If you are not 100% on top of your tune, there's no way you should run it. This applies to 95% of the people here.
For someone that knows their EMS inside and out and has a built motor, then this an option. (the other 5% with money to put into the motor)

you really think a gasket will save your engine? Then tell me, why did i break 3 pistons, but have the stock head gasket still fully intact?
And do you really think that the stock head gasket or the Nippon Leakless gasket will be able to sustain 400+ whp? 20 psi of boost daily and 30 at the track?

Not sure who you are talking to, but note that you OBVIOUSLY apply to the 5% that I spoke of.
And the reason you blew 3 pistons? Remember the fuel systems you've been using over the past few years?? I think it might have something to do with the 100+psi fuel spikes and what was it, 16lbs of boost?

not on a single cam honda i bet.
I have had a number of turbocharged hondas. I had 3 different turbo setups on my Crx alone. I went through 3 motors on that car as well. I never blew a head gasket. I always broke pistons.
Also another good thing about these gaskets is the fact that you can get thinner gaskets, or thicker gaskets. Mine are going to be .085" to help lower compression.
Having a stronger head gasket should only be used on a motor that has a requirement for it. If your motor is built correctly with strong enough components, it will have a tolerance for detonation. You wont break a piston from occasional detonation while tuning. But you can easily blow a stock head gasket. So if you have an extremely strong motor coupled with an extremely strong gasket, you have a better chance of driving home from a good tuning session.
