Speed & Air-condition during Summer
Guys!
Being in a Tropica country I need to on my air-condition everytime I drive.
Therefore, I was told that when u wanna race or maybe rev up to 4500rpm, is better to off the air-condition
as it will not only slow down the car, it will also damage your compressor.....
Is this a normal practice for you guys??

Yeah turn off the AC, the radio, your headlight evrything it helps. Not only the compressor are driven by the engine also the alternator are belt driven by an engine. So extra electric means extra load to your alternator, mean extra load to your engine.

The alternator is always drawing from the engine, regardless of whether you have your stereo of headlights on, that's nonsense. It constantly charges the battery -which is where acessories get electricity from. How would the stereo and headlights continue to work with the engine off? Think about it before you post.
a/c doesn't equal 15 HP. Also, little tip for y'all... when you stop ur car with the A/C, turn it off. Reaason: When you start the car back up it causes a brief moment of high pressure in the compressor, which will kill it or cause it to leak, etc. down the road. So when turning off the car, just turn off the AC at the sametime. No biggie.
