My friend just swapped B16A into his integra, and its leaking at the fuel filter, does anyone know if its ok to take it out and check the gasket for damage or will fuel come out its the part circled in yellow

thats not the filter, that the fuel pressure regulator. If its leaking at a connection, tighten it up, and if the regulator is leaking, replace it.

if theres any leak at any t-fitting then use gasket sealer. Worked for me

thats not a pressure regulator either. That is a pulse dampner. It eliminated pressure pulses associated with the opening and closing of the injectors.

you could be right, I may be looking at the fuel rail backwards. Unless the purple piece is it, it looks more like it, because of the hose leading to the intake manifold. Because I know that some of the regulators are controlled by manifold vacuum.

all regulators are controlled my manifold vaccum/pressure. And that purple thing is the pressure regulator.
