A/C question....

alright i searched and what not about a/c problems. i got an 03 and my a/c doesn't come out cool at all. When i go to turn the air on and hit the a/c thing... only warm air comes out, never cold and i've left it on for like half an hour and still no cool air and thats after driving highway as well. so my question would be... is this covered under my warranty and i dont have to pay anything when i go to the dealership right? i got a 5 yr 75k warranty and what might be the problem? maybe freon?

well if you have a warranty, take it in. It could be anything. Do you hear the ac compressor come on when you turn on the ac?

Your AC compressor clutch might not be engaging. My compressor clutch fell off once. If you pull back the plastic fender well trim on the driver's side, you should be able to get a really clear look at it. Yours could be loose or it could have fallen off or you could have worse problems. I would check that AC compressor. It's an easy fix if that's the problem.

recharging systems doesnt fix the problem. If you are low on refirgerant then you have a leak somewhere.
