Fogs only on iwith lights?

I have factory fogs, and I want them to be able to turn on *without* the headlights having to be on as well.... How difficult is this to do?

How good are you at rewiring stuff?

There was a thread on this somewhere or other.. I know when mine were installed the tuner put the wires off the ignition coil rather than the running lights. Don't ask me about it though

*edit* wtf ... 9 minute old bump?! You might have some luck searching for the thread and/or asking Gearbox or Impulse - I think both of them discussed the things in the mentioned thread

I did it, Steve (gearbox) told me how, you splice into the blue wire, and tap it to constant source, so u can splice the blue wire to the cig plug power wire, doesnt take long takes longer to take apart the console, mine had all red wires with color stripes, i did the red w/ blue stripe and now its always on when the car is and my switch doesnt work anymore, no biggie its fine by me, however Steve's had an all blue wire and his switch actually works.

however his is an 02(sedan) and mine is an 03(coupe) - same fog kit tho, OEM, but maybe coupe vs sedan is the reason the wiring on mine is colored differently.. good luck on urs, let us know how it turns out
