well last night i whent to the track and there was a 4 dr turboed d16 and he was runing 12.5 with a shi_ty lonch
i was in shock it beat my boys turboed b18 non vtec 2dr thay are both 96 . my boy ran 13.5 that thing halled.

From what I understand: physics would tell you a SOHC motor is better for turbo due to less moving parts. This is hear/say from other boards.

depends on what kinda civic it was... those hatchs can be stripped and ran on drag tires and be fast stock... same with some 4-doors.
just because of his slicks and how is car is gutted? Lots of people take out there drag cars on the street once in a while even though they got one piece front end etc and there are few people on htech that have pushed over 400 hp on there d-series and they daily drive it too.

I have friends with 450-620whp civics and integras that runs 10s & low 11sec that are daily drivers....
