recall for suspension

I tried to do a search and couldn't find anything about the recall for the suspension for a 02..
anyone heard of it? it's about the noise coming from the front struts...

i was trying to order some aftermarket shocks and struts because of that... (the KYB AGX ones) and the auto shop guy who quoted me said there's a recall for it... i called honda dealer and give them my VIN and they said no (they are being an a$$).. so i'm wondering if someone can post something about it so i can get it fixed for free... btw, i have the tein s tech springs.. maybe i should just get the aftermarket anyway???

thanks

sorry if this has been posted a million times...

if you already have tein s techs installed, most dealers won't let you use any suspension recall unless you argue it out.

I dont think there was a suspension recall for the 02's. The only major recall I remember was the headlight switch recall and that was only on certain 01's and 02's.

Honda doesn't do recalls unless its something that will make you die. They do TSBs which are like their backdoor way of identifying a problem. You need to bring it in and bitch about it and they'll take care of it under warranty and sometimes out of warranty. If you had aftermarket springs and you're trying to get the dealer to do something about you blowing the shocks, you're an idiot, dealers don't fix things when theres a legitimate problem, let alone an aftermarket part thats the direct cause of it.

i had my headlight switch replaced as part of the recall and while they were at it they also replaced my abs sensors as they said they were not working. This after my tranny went out, for no reason, just driving and then next thing I know on red light i step on gas and no go. To this day they themselves don't know what went wrong with it.

it's just some noise coming from the suspension.. i'm not an idiot that asking them to replace my shocks because it's blown after using the aftermarket springs...
i guess i'll just order the aftermarket shocks and struts...
