Suspension More Comfortable than Stock

hi, I was just wondering what suspension that will make my 2001 civic sedan EX more comfortable (ride quality) than stock.

Please let me know as soon as possible, I am looking into buying suspension in order ONLY to improve the ride quality of my car (kinda like the luxury feeling)

Thanks,
Bobby S.

Buy a luxury car. No one makes upgrades for a civic that make it softer than it already is.

Yes, Konis on full soft is still a good bit firmer than stock damping.

one of the big reasons the civic rides like it does is because of its weight (its relitivly light). add weight and the car will ride smoother.

That is why 2 1/2 ton caddies and lincolns float on air, until they break down that is!!

Once in a while I have a 50 lb rice bag in the trunk, and that helps.

I think my tokicos are more comfy than stock, but a hell of a lot stiffer, haha. You wont get that, unless you put some springs on your car, keep your struts, blow them and youll have a nice bounce. haha.

In its stock form it rides pretty smooth in the low speeds over bumps and cracks. The seats have the right cushoning and support. I feel the bumps are felt more when going over them at higher speeds. The worst ride quality I felt was in a JEEP Liberty, Ultra stiff and the truck would just dive into the bump and really bad seats for such a stiff vehicle. After driving that my civic felt like a cadilac. The newer civics come with 195 60 15s I think, the earlier ones like mine come with 185 65 15s.

well.. i have to hand it to ya man... you're pretty much attempting the opposite of everyone on this board

yeah, i would recommend air bags.. probably the only way to get a softer ride (besides having a custom spring made)
