you have to take out the main relay under the steering weel and when you do this you have to replace the resistor with one of either higher resistance or lower resistance whichever you want either a faster blinker or a slower blinker ( personally i dont know who would want a slower blinker)

I did this myself. Worked like a dream. It's really easy all you do is solder on the new resister in parallel with the old one. I used a 133k Ohm resistor and it is about 3-4 times faster. I tried a 100k Ohm resistor and it was just too fast for my liking.

huyqvu: 25k resistor is just not enough resistance. Try the 100k or the 133k. It's like $0.75 at Radio Shack for a 5-pack. Good luck.

Another note: I'm not sure if it is something they changed between the 2k1 and the 2k2 or if it a coupe/sedan difference, but I tried to do this to my friend's 2k2 sedan and the relay is totally different inside than that of my 2k1 coupe. Has anyone else found this out?

sorry guys, I know this is an old thread, but I've been unable to find the info I need.
So here it is:

Of the 3 relays under the stearing wheel, which one did you guys take out to make the hyperblinker mod?
A, B, or C?
