Brake fluid change/flush... How do you know?

(Thought I'd post this here as well.... Clubsi.com guys aren't too friendly with dumb questions )

Was looking at the recommended schedule from Acura, and my EL's way overdue for a brake fluid change/flush.... It says every 3 yrs... I was looking at all my receipts, never had one from the dealer....

They're advertising it for $100-110 from the dealer...

Is this something I could go to Crappy Tire to do? (i.e. or should I use the Acura JDM fluids)

I'm not doing it myself, I need someone professional to bleed the brakes, etc.

The brakes feel mushy, but then again, every says they feel mushy all the time anyway..... The EL has disc brakes on all 4 corners (not drum in the back) How do you tell it's time? (Besides smashing on the brake hard when you need it, and finding it's not working.)

Honestly, I've had my car for 4 years, and I've never gotten my break fluid flushed and re-filled.

Maybe I should

I was planning on doing mine this summer anyway....considering a new brake setup if this amount of overtime continues. But man am I tired...how can I install or even maintain if I can't keep my eyes open for 2 hours?
