Painting Urethane!

Anybody know what that chemical is that you are supposed to put into paint when painting flexible surfaces like urethane? I just bought the xenon kit and want to make sure that the body shop knows to put this chemical in the paint! Also can someone who has a full urethane kit kindly give a rough figure as to how much it cost you to get the entire kit painted and installed? i would appreciate it alot! Thanks!

You mean like flex agent? I'm afraid I don't know what the actual composition of it is, but every bodyshop I've ever dealt with knows what flex agent is and why it has to be used when painting polyurethane parts. AFAIK adding this stuff doesn't significantly increase the total cost.

The owner of my favourite bodyshop told me to think of it this way - the amount you spend on properly painting a PU kit will likely be less than doing the same with a fiberglass kit, cause FG kits never fit quite right and always need extra work before painting and installing.
