is that your car in the coupe vs. sedan post?
I have a sedan and am thinking about tinting. I have been thinking about doing if for a while now... My gf's mom just tinted her windows to 50% and it looks pretty f'in good. I am just trying to look at examples of tinted sedans.... It looks like your drivers window isnt tinted?

It looks good. Out her in PA we're not allowed to tint the front side windows at all. I don't like the idea of half tinted and half not so I'll probably just tint them all but not so much that it draws alot of attention. I was thinking in the range of 45-55%. Your 35 looks good though.

Nice, I didn't see the no tint one. Thanks for the comparison. My gf if pressuring me to do it. She may beat me to the punch and do it for her car first. She got a scion tc a few months ago.

I personally got 35% done and wish that I went a step darker and got 25%. In CT 35% is the legal limit so thats what I have...the wierd thing though is that I compared my aftermarket tint (which is the 'legal' limit) to the factory tint on my mom's acura mdx and her tint is actually darker??
Whatever you do, just keep in mind that during the day anything lighter than 35% you wont even notice...you barely notice 35% in the day as well. At night however it does get a lot darker...mine's barely visible to the inside at night

platinum tint kicks ***. you know...the mirror stuff. looks really good on silver. and it blocks more UV rays than just black tint. you can still see through mine when the sun isn't on it, but it looks like a mirror when the sun is out and at the right angle. too much mirror is bad and will get you a ticket.
I have 20% on the front sides, and the rear sides, and 5% on the back and for the eyebrow on the windshield. I"ll take pics maybe tomorrow. At first, it was really dark and super hard to see but I've gotten used to it. You can barely see in at all during the day and at night, it's nearly impossible.. through the sides. But through the back, you can't see in at both day and night. It's kind of a b1tch going i reverse at night anywhere except well lit parking lots.

the factory tint is also starting to fade or turn purple or something. It doesn't look right on the inside anymore, and I'm guessing it's dyed into the glass or something.

hmm well looking through it from the inside it looks purple tinted. It has been almost 3 years in the sun pretty much so maybe it's just fading.
Just got 35% after a long debate of weather I should tint or not, I think it makes the car look better and offers you a bit more privacy without being too bait around cops. 35% I can still see great out the back, would never dream of getting 5%, because you know you'll jus end up buying a new bumper
