Most of the shops charge about $180 for the install ($60 an hour of labor charge which takes about 3hrs) As for the alignment, I pay $95 (an hour and half job)
so..
$286 is just average or a little bit higher than the average..
why don't u spend a day to do the install urself or ask for help on this forum? i'm sure u can get some help from FL 7thgeners

first off you should get shocks while you are putting the springs on. Also, a camber kit should be installed or you will not be able to align it correctly. In addition, if the shop is going to install then do alignment right away, then that is a rip off. Springs need time to settle (about a week or so). I suggest reading up on suspension before you go ahead and drop money on suspension that is going to be crap (especially when your shocks blow in a few months.)
i just got my sportlines in the other day with my shocks. heres my setup that IM putting on in about an hour.

*anxiously awaits Hondaguy coming back saying his ride is shitty and the alignment guys can't get it into spec*
there are tonnes of ppl who do not get shocks with thier springs.. as long as u drive ur car properly, ie not going really fast over potholes, youll be fine without them.
robbclark1, i have progress springs right now...which is a descent drop... how long do u think i have before my shocks blow, considering i dont drive my car too hard.

HondayGuy,
Since you're looking for a shop to install the springs that means you cant do it youself which means that when the shop installs the springs f0r 290$ and your shocks blow you'll have to pay the shop AGAIN to take the suspension out and replace the shocks. So thats close to 600$ in labor alone for a 500 dollar spring/shock combo.
Either find a better shop that charges less money or get shocks and have everything put in at once so you wont have to pay for the shop for the 2nd time to replace the shocks when they blow.

u're done.
and like everyone said, I'd suggest getting a New AfterMarket Shocks as well
