Try using a hair dryer to dry the condensation before it drys on it own otherwise you could end up with water marks. Then take your silicon and spread it around the endages and smear it with your finger to work it into the gaps.

I didn't use a hairdryer when I was done, but after I put the silicone and clips back on the lights I added a little more silicone to areas where I though needed more. Just put a lot of silicone and let it dry for a couple of hours before you put them back on.

well since the fog appeared in both places i dont know whats up but i drove my car saw the fog got really pissed and then when i went back to my car like 20 min later all the fog was gone!!!!! so what is that??? is that gonna happen every time i drive??? let me know??? and i sealed it once...clipped it.....then re-sealed it.... so i dunno whats goin on
The condensation is gonna show up everytime that you drive. So, you got to pull your headlights out, take all the bulbs out of them, and blow dry them. Some people won't agree with the blow drying thing, but I think it works. It did for me. Anyways, first dry them with hot air and then with cool air to blow all the water vapor out of the housing. make sure you let the housings cool before slapping the bulbs back in because you don't want any left over water vapor to get trapped again. You need to reseal the outside again, just in case you have a tiny leak somewhere. I had to do this to mine too, and it worked.
The best solution is to take them apart again. Pry all the black goo out of the groove and fill the groove with silicone. Do this very methodically. I did this after I took mine apart for the second time to paint the housings. I put the assemblies right back into my car after I resealed them. And no moisture to this day. Hope that helps.

So, I'm a little confused about the use of silicone...
Is that just used as a sealant..? Or just a replacement for glue..?
Sorry, please don't laugh at me...

I'm trying to deal with my fogged up lights. Maybe cause I did it on a rainy day in the garage. Is it possible to pry apart the silicone seal that I applied??
man, I am sure glad I cleared my headlights and sealed them good. It has been almost a week now and they aren't leaking at all, they are perfect. Well anyway, yea, you will need to go through the whole process of clearing them again. You will have to remove the lights, remove the bulbs and use a dryer to get the moister out, then reseal them. I guess if you wanted to, you don't have to take them apart, but you can just get more silicon and make a better seal were both headlights connect together. Hope this helps!
