Right now im just looking for something to get my car a bit more fun to drive every day......I really dont know what to do. I know with a 35 shot i would have to do minimal things to run it (safc to tune when spraying and some new spark plugs). Or i could go with a ex head and a vafc and tune that a little. My freind works a place where they tune and dyno afc's and hondata so my tunning would be free on both apps. What do you think i should do. My only mods right now are aem sri, ex header to rsx-s exhaust. I have a 04 vp.

the question is ex head or 35 shot...

well... do you want to gain 5 hp or 35 hp?

you can safely run a 50 or 55 shot (depending on the kit)... members safely run 65 shots daily and 75 at the track

ex head swap is not 5 hp....with proper tunning it should be atleast 8-10 whp

do a head swap man.. then a lil later throw the 35 shot on there. i did my ex head swap last weekend. def worth it.

if you aren't doing the swap yourself, its not worth the price you will pay. but if you do all the work, its worth it for sure. Other than that, you can run a 50 shot daily with no problems. Just don't hold the button down too long....lol

Id say 50 shot, than throw an EX head on later. Thats just me though.

Get a ZEX kit and call it a day, or spend twice as much and get less hp for twice the price that takes 10 times the labor. Just my two cents!

i dont know about spending twice as much.. i got my ex head for $200 and labor was free cause i did it myself...id say if you have the money do both cause you will gian more combined then just one or the other

I wonder how a new head on my LX would do now that Im boosted. Since I got the longer gears, a little bit of Vtec may help me out decently. I wish a K20 head would swap right up, that would be so sweet. haha. Im a n00b.
