your throwing the code/cel cause it is not recogizing anything with the o2 sensor, its cause you need a o2 simulator. as for the oil and whatnot, i dunnoi

your throwing the codes becuase you initially got RID of the cat you need to get a tap and thread your o2 sensor into the exhaust and you also NEED and FREE FLOW cat i mean if you want to pass emissions. your 02 sensor reads your air fuel mixture in the exhaust and if you dont have a cat or sensor it will read incorrectly hense your car runs like CRAP

I had the same header installed on my car. I also had it installed without any 02 simulator with the stock 02 sensors. My car ran exactly the same as if it were stock. Just the cel light stayed on. I installed a MIL eliminator and it got rid of the cel. If the header is installed properly then you should not be having these problems. Check the installation for leaks. Did you use a donut gasket?

I didn't know you had to reset the ECU. I thought after 500 or so miles the ECU adjusts to the improved flow of the exhaust fumes?

there's a fuse in the fuse box you pull out for 10 min or just disconnect the battery for 10min. after the 10min let it idle for another 10min.

Emissions

We had a huge discussion on the LX headers last year! I bunch of people were saying to buy the ex header and just get a aftermarket hi flow cat with custom exhaust piping! And of course you will need the O2 sensor to fix the computer! But I do have one question! If you get all of this are you gauranteed to pass emissions?

the high flow cat product is a misconception ... it's not actually a cat at all, but rather just a resonator.
