man tell me what you think i should run with..
i currently have the AEM V2 intake system but as you know its only a short ram.. so in addition im thinking of just running the cold air original System which is the one that tucks down below the engine compartment.
im having iffy's tho.. damn i hate those iff'ys they itch.!
what would you run with.?

He has the magic answer? You dont trust anybody else. Stay stock though. For sure. I had a CAI, went back to stock, now I have a short ram intake, its not too bad. Nothing you feel though. I raced my friends a bunch of times before, and they were like half an inch away from me. Now I am in front of them pulling ever so slightly like a snail.

i had the aem cai on my civic. quite honestly most everyone is right here.
there is definately better throttle response with the cai. it sounds awesome right at 4k and up. as far as hp gains, its all placebo if you ask me.
im with alex and jt on this one, buy something cool and stick with your short ram(the car needs the low end anyway)

I think the short ram I have works a lot better than my old AEM cold air. Dont change anything, you have an intake, thats all you need, nothing worth trading or wasting more money on. They wont change that much. If you want a different sound or something, try a different filter. They seem to change the noise a little.
