Subwoofer Enclosures and Cubic Feet

I have 2 10" Kappa Perfect 10.1d subs, which each need .6 cubic feet in a sealed box.

Should I by a pre-fab box which has 1 cubic foot or, since it is off by .2 should I have a custom one built?

The pre-fab I can get for about $60-70, while im sure a custom is like 120-160.

Let me know the positives and negatives of both, and/or a good place to get a custom box in the charlotte area.

Build it yourself and it should be cheaper.

A custom one can be tuned to whatever frequency you want.. preferrably one within the specified frequency range of the sub. It'll sound a lot better, however there are some mathematical calculations that need to be done but nothing you can't do on a calculator. Also you can build your box to fit perfect in the car, as opposed to a pre-fab one.. although the pre-fab ones are ready to throw in the car.. its up to you man
