tired of your weak-*** 15" or 18" subwoofers that can only handle a couple thousand watts?...well, i'm not either, but just in case, here's a 320 pound, 10,000 watt, 22" MTX subwoofer ...

and even if i could remove enough parts of my car to fit the insanely huge box that thing would need, i wouldn't have any room for all the damn batteries i would need to power a 10,000 watt amp...
Derek should offer a Premium membership or something to the first person that can manange to stuff one of these beasts into a Civic...

My, how practical! I was just wondering why no manufacturer made a subwoofer which required you to use higher test suspension in your vehilcal to accomodate it. MTX, if you spent half the effort on sound quality of your products as you spent on the retarded woofer . . . .

Rep Power: 786 i don't think that subwoofer has any practical application, even in spl... the efficiency and weight and prboably cost of that thing as well will make it pretty much useless. if you are that serious, a DD 9917 has been known to take 24,000w burps, so how can you do much better than that? If you ask me I think MTX was just showing off what they are capable of, that thing will never really be used in any application if you ask me. I doubt they were really dumb enough to blow the R&D budget on it anyway, so I wouldn't even expect extraordinary performance.
