DIY: oem switch for oem copy foglights
this is for anyone who has an 02+ who has/will get the oem style foglights...
i just decided to post this in the tech stuff forum becasue a couple of guys asked me which pins go to where regarding with the oem switch (telly you owe me **** dude)
here is the comparison:
the one on the right(blue) is for the 02
here is the diagram as to where the pins go:
now i bought my foglights about a year and a half ago so i forgot how it came with/like( i think i had to remove the pins from the white plug that's supposed to fit the old switch). so if you have questions about this diy just post 'em up. i think the diagram is pretty much self explanatory though.

i installed foglights on my friend's '03 civic and for some reason, the OEM switch will not stay in place where the cutouts are. it doesnt even snap in place, so i thought i was missing clips, but its not the case. any ideas?

My switch for 02 is kinda loose too. If you're worried, just glue it from the back with some cement glue and tape it to dry overnight. Should be good to go.

about the switch not fitting right. I had the same problem, are you trying to put it below the radio or by the cruise control. If you try to put it below the radio it will not fit( or at least mine didnt) If you put it in the spot by the c.c it should snap right in.
I just burnt my tongue

i havent seen an OEM switch yet but if the connectors are anything like a relay connectors than u can use female spade connectors and crimp a wire to the other end...just make sure u have the right wires spliced together
