hey guys whats up? Well im new here and i have a 99 civic with 55k on it and my check engine light came on and i took it and had a computer hooked up and it came back saying idle system control malfunction? Does anyone here know what this could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

pull connector on the iac should rev up if not replace iac

also try cleaning ur tb

this means taking it apart and cleaning part by part with a tooth brush and carb cleaner

ok, ive pulled the connector and it bogs way down and sounds like its gonna die? Is this a bad iac or could it be something else, like needing to clean the tb or what? Ive cleaned the iac pretty well, so any other suggestions?
