civic vs turbo corolla s? or corolla xrs
I was driving this morning normally and this ****ing corolla swings right past me. I say its only a corolla, I didnt get to check the tags if it was xrs model.so i swing to 3rd gear, max it at 85 mph and switch to 4th start the nitrous then hit about 110-120 then swang to 5th and went about 125-130 and stopped spraying and barely caught up to him and beat him.
Im wondering what this **** had, I always thought there was no aftermarket turbo available but I found out they do make one, just not for the xrs. he has an exhaust from the back and the rest i couldnt tell. the corolla did have some power, but I beat his ***.
I didnt just sweep him like other cars, it took me quite a bit to catch up and beat him.
I dont know much about corollas so anyone who knows more about it than me, can you please tell me what the corolla couldve been running?
P.S. after i passed him, he couldnt catch up to me any more. he had about half a mile head start flooring, but in the end i caught up, slowly, and i know he was flooring too because of his exhaust.
I just hope his **** was turbo, cuz i know nos can take some turbos especially on a corolla.
if it was the xrs 170hp version, I cant beleive it cuz im running 80 shots with i/h/e/cat/pulley/ground/ so basically i had about 230 to the flywheel while he had 170 to the flywheel if he had the xrs. so if he did, i wouldve beat him like nothing but i didnt, so thats how i know he had something. i just hope it was something better than the xrs.
it could be that or maybe my bottle was nearly emtpy hence making barely any power.

Rep Power: 290 the guy had a freaging corolla meng. i take those anyday. the reason i posted was because it took me ****ing forever to catch up to him. he probably got 1/4 mile head because 1/2 is too much. anyway s i burned him and right after i almost got into an accident going 130 on a 55. I was pissed so i kept it at 125-130. I had to swirve to outside lane because this beamer cut me off. luckily i didnt hit him, i thought i was going to total my car that second. i had big br akes too and it couldnt stop me.

I doubt it was a turbo corolla cause the after market kits are putting easily 210-230 whp depending on the amount of boost. 6psi on a 1zz is all you need to hit 210whp.
My guess is he had th advantage of starting out before you and thats why it took awhile to pass him. I'm willing to bet it was simply I/E.
