i thought that i should let people know that summitracing still sells the RS Akimoto center brace (just in case there's people that want to get one) . i finally got off my lazy ***, picked up the phone, and called them to confirm this (after 6 months of thinking about calling them). i heard from a few members here that it was discontinued (i dont know where they got that from , because its always been on their site). btw, i ordered one just now...it should be here by the 28th

part # is AVC-20840 (you have to type it in, otherwise, if you search for RS Akimoto or floor bar or center brace, it wont show up)

I heard roomers that that the mounting plates needed to modifed so they could be bolted on.

what?! why am i just hearing this now?? lol. of all the threads that i read, there was no mention of modifying the mounting plates. oh well...lol.

Dammit really? I went and bought a universal with that hump in the middle cause I thought I couldn't get it anymore....blah!
