engaging into 2nd gear it kinda grabs hard and jolts, 2nd to 3rd disengages/revs a 500 rpm or so and engages into 3rd gear, 3rd to 4th does the same thing but not as bad
yea that happens to me
i took my car to aamco and they said nothing was wrong with it mechanically so they just did a flush.
my dad had the car before and never got the fluid changed so it was the first time @40k miles
it still does it i dont know if it is as bad but yea it still does it form time ot time

well, it got towed to AAMCO, and they had to get me a new torque converter and all kinds of other $hit like that that i don't know what they are or do...
i took it for a test drive today, and it shifts better than it did when it was brand new, but it comes at a cost of $2795.88...so definitely go get it checked out before your car gets to that point...
i had the same prob.. put it on the OBD2 scanner and it read shift solenoid valve A/B, and the auto trans clutch pressure control solenoid valve A/B... and if they are DENSO solenoids be lookin to spend over 600.00$ from the dealership

My Mom's 2k1 started shifting hard at 25K. I had her take it for a fluid change, and it's still running smooth at 60k. Going to have a fluid change soon again, just in case.
These tranny's are pretty sensitive it seems.
