Is it just like the 2002 civic si installation on the neuspeed website?

might have to jack up one side to get one of the bolts to line up with the bar and tap it in with a rubber mallet? i just took a hammer and a towel and tapped it in lightly though.

If you have a Neuspeed front upper strut bar, I believe you only have a total of four nuts to remove (there are six nuts, but one on each side is not removed). You shouldn't have to jack up the car. Once you have removed the four nuts, set the strut bar on top of the bolts and see if any parts interfere with the install. On my '04, I had to adjust one of the fluid reservoirs. After you have verified that nothing interferes with the install, start on one side and push the ends on the bars onto the two bolts. The bar is fairly flexible so you can tweak it some if need be. Once you have one side down, move to the next and do the same. Once you have both sides down, start threading each of the nuts until you get some resistance. Then, with a torque wrench, torque each nut to 33 ft lbs.
Simple install.

Thanks
I've never been a DIYer myself, nor have I ever used a torque wrench. Sorry for asking, but can you explain what you mean by threading? And I assume there is a setting on the torque wrench to thighten up to 33ft lb? btw, rep points for all when im able too

Well...threads are on the outside of the bolt and the inside of the nut. When someone says to start threading a nut, they are referring to you talking the nut and screwing it on the bolt.
Torque wrenchs have a dial (if you will) on the handle that you can turn and adjust the ft lbs.

Just a note: After installing the bar you might see that it interfers with the clutch resirvoir. If I remember correctly, the instructions from Neuspeed say to remove and relocate the clutch resirvoir, but this is not needed. I have the same bar on, and I simply losened the nut that holds the CR and moved it down a little bit, then you can correctly place your USB on.

I started stripping mine like hell, but then I went to my friends and he had the "proper" tools and size I needed. The next day I bought all the tools I thought I needed, except they arent deep enough for my rear strut tower bar. I need to go hit my friend or neighbor up. If you are using the right size, it should not be getting stripped at all. Remember righty tighty, lefty loosey.
