strut/tower braces

i'm looking at getting some strut/tower braces for my 02 civic ex 4dr. i'm not really getting into the high end real expensive stuff, but something that will do for normal/semi aggressive driving and possibly even if i do some autocrossing. any ideas? thanks...

under normal driving condiitions, the strut tower bar will not be felt.... it's only when youre reaching the limits will the bar make the difference.... and neuspeed is the best available... about $105-120

Strut bar in general, you won't really feel much from it. I don't think it's a good idea to add a front strut bar on a FWD car. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't stiffen the front cause more understeer which is the major issue already with a FWD? My Civic is still bone stock but currently on my Prelude, I have a rear strut bar & a thicker rear sway bar. Front sway bar is still stock & I removed my front strut bar. I notice a slightly more oversteer now under hard cornering.

strut bars don't cause understeer or oversteer. They just brace the chassis from flexing. sway bars handle the load of roll. Any type of chassis brace is a good thing if you are trying to make your car turn better.

Tech705, read the FAQ and everyone will say neuspeed is the best front strut bar for the money. It has been covered a million times. In fact it was covered just 2 weeks ago. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...light=neuspeed
The FAQ has a list of parts in it.
