Delrin Bushings
Anyone have any info on these??? i am thinking about trying to make some (i sure that no one makes them for us, if they do let me know). Is there any intrest in these for anybody else should i go ahead and make them??? also does anyone happen to have any clue on the sizes of our bushings??? thanks for any info or let me know if you might want some if this turns out to be a good idea.
Delrin is Dupont's brand name for Acetal Resin, it is a unique combination of strength, stiffness, hardness, dimensional stability, toughness, fatigue resistance, solvent and fuel resistance, abrasion resistance, low wear and low friction. You can also try Celcon from Ticona, which is another brand name for Acetal. VERY HARD PLASTIC!

Yeah, we used to use celcon for surgical impact heads where I used to work. its pretty hard stuff, I can't imagine trying to drive on crappy US roads with those. The only time I've ever seen those used is on straight up track cars, where stiff and compliant is the only thing that matters. I don't think you're gonna like it. Ask rob what the poly bushings did.

i was planing on making the lower control arm bushings, and as far as i know you just can't use metal bushings for ST. I am at least going to get poly bushings, but i just figured this might be a cool idea or at least alittle differnt.
