225 40 18
I need new tires bad due to camber wear...I have Yokohama Parada Spec 2's which is 215 40 18. I'm also dropped on Goldlines. Will 225 40 18 fit without rubbing?
i have five parada 215/40-18 tires that are very new, less than 5,000 miles. i will sell them for cheap if you want them.
but yeah, i think you might have some problems with a 225/40?

Who was that one girl that isnt on here anymore?? CivicChick? something like that. She was from a hick state, like louisiana or tennessee(sp). Or took her pics off. The blonde dropped on 19s w/goldline springs. It was a while ago, but she was sooooo gorgeous!. She had a silver coupe, in dash DVD. She had one of my fav rides on this site.
edit- But the point was, she had 19s dropped on Goldlines. She had to run neg camber from what it looked like, but you can def. do it. It will look sick! Go for it. You can also have your fenders rolled. People attempt that themselves, but personally, thats something I would let a shop do.
So Roll fenders, run neg camber, and you should be just fine! DO IT da**it!!! Post pics up if ya do
second edit- I dont know what I was thinking when I posted this. I thought you were asking if 19s would fit on goldlines. my bad

Im getting 225/45/17s for my rims this weekend. Ill be mounting them on monday. So I will post results. Im afraid it might not work out though, cuz I had 225s in the rear only a while ago, and that barely fit in there. And i was at stock ride height. Now its lowered and negative in the front (I dont have a camber kit yet). I will see how well this works out. I just remember seeing the back of my car when I had the 225s and it looked badass. the width is awesome looking on out cars.

I've got 225/40-18 Fuzion ZRi and love them. Right now I'm at stock height, but will be dropping it, or trying to, on H&R sport springs this weekend. I'll keep you posted on how that turns out.

ok im contemplating on this too(since im getting 18s), i have heard it really just depends on the brand of tires(some brands will run wider than others), and also i was wondeinrg would it also depend on the drop too? cuz i might get s. techs and tockicos for my drop with 18s and either a 225/35 or a 225/40(if it wont rub that is but im still unsure about this)
I debated between 21540R18 & 22540R18 recently. With a 1" drop, I'm going with 21540R18 BFG GForce KDW2, with the sick tread design. Tires are here, trying to decide on wheels still. Looking at some Tenzos now.

use this forums tire calculator to see the tire size difference.
it's located at the very bottom of any forum page. but here's a link.
http://www.7thgencivic.com/index.php?page=tirecalc
and using the tire calc, you can see that if you get 225/40R18 instead of 215/40R18 its only a mere .32 inches bigger diameter
