My door is getting repainted on Wednesday and me and the body shop agree that I'm going to remove my door handle from the door and save myself some money on labor of taking off the door panels ect.

I know how to take the door panels off.... my question is how do I take the door handle off? I'm gonna be taking the door apart and does anyone know if taking the door handle off is risky or is easy or whatever?

its real easy but its been awhile so here goes: remove the door panel, then there should be two fasteners of some sort (i believe they are 10 mm nuts) that hold on the handle, then disconect the lock rods, and wiggle the handle out. if you have questions pm me.
Will you be needing to take the belt moulding off also?

thanx man, i just wanted to make sure that the job is fairly simple because last time i took the door panels off i didnt bother looking at the door handle set up. i'll give it a shot tommorow and see what happens
